meet the scientist
Kasey Fowler-Finn
Kasey is an evolutionary biologist who investigates the evolution of communication in insects and arachnids. A major goal of her research is to understand how communication is affected by and adapts to changes in the environment.
Kasey is equally excited about science communication and being an encouraging and positive role model for budding scientists. Her lab team collaborates closely on research projects and uses results from their work to share the joy, adventure, and value of science beyond the university. Fowler-Finn has published widely in her field and is the recipient of numerous grants from the National Science Foundation.
She is currently an Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University. She received her PhD in 2009 from the University of Nebraska.
